David Marcus is an accomplished trial lawyer and a skilled veteran in commercial litigation, products liability, personal injury and premises liability matters. After graduating from Brandeis University cum laude, he attended the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude. While at SUNY Buffalo, Dave was elected to the editorial board of the Buffalo Law Review and was awarded the Robert J. Connelly award for excellence in trial practice.
After graduation, Dave began his legal career at Jaeckle, Fleischmann & Mugel, LLP, where he concentrated in commercial litigation and negligence defense. He later formed the law firm of Marcus, Knoer, Crawford & Hilton, LLP, where he focused his practice on civil litigation matters, including commercial litigation, products liability and personal injury cases. Mr. Marcus has taken many cases to successful verdict in both Federal and State Courts including landmark victories in cases in the Federal District Court for the Western District of New York.
Dave is now a founding partner at Marcus & Cinelli, LLP, where he continues to concentrate on commercial litigation, personal injury, products liability, municipal law, and tax and complex litigation matters. Dave has been retained by individuals and businesses to litigate numerous cases in courts throughout the nation as well as within New York State. In addition to practicing law, Dave has taught Business Law at the postgraduate and undergraduate levels as an adjunct Professor at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Management.
Dave has been named to Best Lawyers in America and New York’s Best Lawyers and has also been elected as a New York State “Super Lawyer,” a title bestowed on the top 5% of lawyers in New York State, every year since 2007.
